    Pick-up Vertical Turning Machines DVT – Unique machine design

    The patented design for complete machining without compromise, combined with maximum precision. Nearly two decades of experience have perfectly honed the DVT machine system, making it unrivalled among comparable systems on the market.
    When it comes to high precision in one chucking after another, in particular, the advantages are significant, because the workpiece is transferred to the next chuck still clamped, without losing its position.
    Ever more restricted production floor space requires a compact machine design. Compared to the footprint of two individual machines with interlinking and turnover station, the advantages of the DVT are especially obvious. Ergonomic machine design with large doors and windows for maximum user friendliness, easy setup and fixturing. As the turnover station is dispensed with, automation setup times are also minimized.

      custom-engineered vertical turning machine.
      The DVH family of machines lends itself very favourable to the composition
      of automated turning cells and lines. Whether your are looking for multiple
      machine operation, production through break-times or during personnel
      reduced shifts, a comprehensive range of job-adapted peripheral equipment
      is available to match your needs. This includes equipment for part identification,
      loading, gauging and surveillance.





      Applications

      The uniqueness of the DVT
      Instead of two machines linked by automation and turning station you need
      just one DVT to machine workpieces from two sides with the highest precision.
      Automatic loading of the machine through the suspended spindle and
      machining in a closed workspace provide the basis. The direct operation
      into the clamping device of the fixed spindle after machining takes place
      without loss of quality between the two clampings.

      Parallel to the machining of the second side the loading of the suspended
      spindle takes place again and the machining continues. Unloading of the
      fixed spindle is managed through a separate gripper. The finished part is
      removed by an integrated automation so that raw and finished parts are
      clearly separated for the operator.

      Options

      Driven ToolsTurning, drilling, milling and tapping in only one chucking offers the bestmachining quality and reduces fixture costs. In order to reduce clampingpressure the workpiece will be supported by a tool located in the turret head. The use of the drilling- and milling-unit is based on a modular genericunit which can be used with single tools or multiple drilling heads.

      NC lift-off-slide
      The NC lift-off-slide was developed particularly for brake disk
      manufacturing. It can be applied to all flat surfaces. Two cutters can
      operate simultaneously.
